Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

How do you remove dryer lint from the exhaust?

Did you know that lint build-up in your dryer can lead to a house fire?

Prevent a dryer fire from happening with a simple maintenance routine that eliminates the lint on a regular basis. Before you put a new load of clothes in the dryer, clean out the lint filter. You can use your hands or rinse the filter under water to get it clean. Every six months a deeper clean is necessary. Unplug your dryer and detach the exhaust hose and back panel. Wipe down the areas with a clean cloth and use a vacuum to collect any stray lint.
